Each PO is allowed to hold up to TWO fundraisers per quarter, a total of 8 maximum per year. These fundraisers must seek approval through the SJA and Camp Commander. Bake Sales and Car Washes DO COUNT towards your allotted 2 fundraisers per quarter. |
Guidelines
Raffles explainedWhat constitutes a raffle and what does not.
if you are charging them to participate in something that will result in them winning a prize, then it is considered a raffle. If you are not charging them specifically to enter to win a prize, then it is not considered a raffle, it is considered a drawing and should be open for anyone to participate. For example, everyone has a number, and when their number is drawn they will have to answer a question to win a prize, (based on skill/knowlegde, not luck), then this is considered a drawing as long as they did not purchase the number/ticket to enter. It all depends if you are charging them for the purpose of entering this "contest" or not. If you have any questions please contact me. |
